Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Clovos platform, API, and associated services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Clovos provides infrastructure monitoring (HTTP, HTTPS, Ping, TCP, DNS, and Port tracking), uptime verification, and incident alerting. While we strive for absolute accuracy, you acknowledge that network monitoring is inherently subject to false positives, false negatives, routing anomalies, and third-party API failures.

3. Acceptable Use & Account Limits

Your usage of Clovos is governed by the limits of your subscribed tier. Furthermore, you agree to the following:

  • Authorized Monitoring Only: You may only monitor endpoints, servers, or APIs that you own or possess explicit legal authorization to monitor.
  • Abuse Prevention: You will not use the Service to execute DDoS attacks, maliciously overload third-party servers, or conduct penetration testing.
  • Quotas: Incident alerts are strictly capped per billing cycle. Once exhausted, alerts will cease until the next cycle. Attempting to bypass these limiters will result in immediate account termination without refund.

4. Status Pages & Public Directory

By default, non-private Status Pages may be aggregated and listed in our public directory at /public-status. If you wish to keep your infrastructure status hidden, you must utilize the "Private Share" feature. You are solely responsible for any sensitive data you expose via public Status Pages.

5. Billing, SLA & Midtrans

Subscriptions are billed in advance. All payments (QRIS, Virtual Accounts, Credit Cards) are processed securely through Midtrans.

Financial backing for our 99.99% Uptime Service Level Agreement (SLA) is exclusively available to Enterprise tier customers and is strictly limited to service credits. No cash refunds will be provided for SLA breaches.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Read Carefully

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Clovos and its founders explicitly disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Clovos, its founders, directors, employees, or affiliates be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of revenue, lost data, business interruption, or reputational damage resulting from your use of the Service, missed incident alerts, false positive downtime alerts, or platform outages.

In no event shall our total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms exceed the total amount you paid to Clovos in the three (3) months immediately preceding the claim. If you are on a free tier, our total liability is limited to $0.

8. Indemnification & Termination

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Clovos and its founders from any claims, damages, lawsuits, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or any unauthorized monitoring of third-party infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause or notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to our infrastructure.
